ITV Warship

Atticus provided a fusion of live action, 3D and 2D animation to produce the opening titles for ITV’s Warship Series. Bringing the scale of the ship and the excitement of being aboard together into a short 16-second intro was a tough job. We combined the key items that make the warship interesting to audiences in a dynamic way that offers a brief insight into life on board.

For each episode we also animated various maps, equipment & hardware that was used to deliver information and expand upon the episodes story or mission. The animations helped to tie the live action together, particularly when the producers realised that they were missing vital shots to tell the full story. Our animation provided those missing links and ensured that the final output was as awe-aspiring as the ship itself.
